For the past 15 years, we've been running a 501(c)(3) horse rescue, which means we've mastered the art of finding humor in hay bales, optimism in muddy boots, and joy in the chaos that comes with caring for our four-legged friends. When you spend your days surrounded by horses (and their, ahem, opinions), you learn pretty quickly that life requires a good sense of humor and an unwavering belief in what's possible—for everyone, two-legged and four-legged alike.
